Choco Chili Chicken Wings
Ingredients
12 chicken wings
1/4 CUP CRITIDA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL FLAVORED WITH CHILI
1/4 CUP CRITIDA EXTRA VIRGIN OLIVE OIL FLAVORED WITH CHOCOLATE
6oz. tomato paste
1 TBSP. CRITIDA PINE & THYME HONEY
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. chili powder
1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
1 tsp. Salt
1/4 tsp. cayenne pepper
Dressing
Pre-heat oven to 425. Combine dry ingredients, chili powder, cocoa powder, salt, and cayenne in a small bowl. In separate larger bowl, combine wet ingredients, both oils, tomato paste, honey, and garlic. and stir until well combined. Stir the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients in the large bowl. Add the chicken wings and mix until covered in marinade. Marinate in the refrigerator for one hour. Remove the wings from the marinade and reserve the remaining marinade. Plac marinated chicken wings onto a cookie sheet large enough to allow the wings not to be crowded and have a little room between them. Place wings in the pre-heated oven and bake for 30 minutes or until well browned. Heat the reserved marinade in a large pan until bubbling.
