CRITIDA S.A. is a family company with a long experience and knowledge to produce olive oil. It was founded in Iraklion Crete in 1998, in order to standardize and trade in olive oil. It is specialized in trading in two categories of standardized olive oil: extra virgin and biological. It also produces and trades olive paste, olives and Delicatessen products, which combine the extra virgin olive oil with traditional Cretan herbs such as, thyme, rosemary, garlic and paprika flavor. All of our company’s products are tested for their quality by highly qualified personnel, in accordance with the international and European standards.
Critida S.A. is certified by DIO on the standardization and marketing of organic olive oil since 1999 and has been awarded many times for its products from domestic and international agencies. It has also developed a significant export business to international markets such as Germany, Denmark, Sweden, the Netherlands and Japan and participates annually in food and beverage fairs in Greece and abroad.
The company’s premises are close to Iraklion city and they fulfil the strict EU -specifications concerning food and drinks. In its longtime operation, CRITIDA S.A. has achieved a remarkable structure, which includes stainless steel storage tanks with a capacity of 500 tons of oil and modern facilities for the standardization of olive oil.
All these years in CRITIDA S.A. we have managed to combine perfectly the enterprising spirit and innovation with the standardization of olive oil. Through the planning and the implementation of a complete business plan, we exploited the new technologies and created the ideal conditions for the standardization of our agricultural products.
Our vision is to continue to export our products to the existing markets and expand our export activities to new ones. Our participation in international food and beverage fairs is an integral part of this vision. We want under continuous supervision to improve the quality of our products and to customize them according to market requirements. This can be achieved through our effort to innovate at all levels, from the production process and marketing to sales channels and management.
The quality of our products, the continuous research for improvement, the respect for the consumer and the environment and our contribution to the society, through charities are the basic principles and values, which rule the successful course of our Cooperative.
The company’s facilities are located near Heraklion and meet strict EU standards for food and beverages. In long mode, the Critida SA has achieved a remarkable infrastructure, which includes stainless steel tanks storage capability of 500 tonnes of oil and modern oil installations standardization.
